      Welcome to my Website, specially dedicated to the fans, breeders and exhibitors of Budgerigars standard English (or exposure). On line since 28/06/04, the site has completed five years with constant upgrades and updates, and is one of the oldest sites in Brazil in activity at the time, being a reference in the sector.  My name is Walter Finatto Ansante, I am a musician (fiddler), married and live in Campinas, State of São Paulo, Brazil.

MY BUDGERIGARS

 

      I both have known and bred budgerigars since 1990. Nevertheless, it was not before year 2000, when going to an exhibition in Campinas, that I figured out how much this hobby meant to me. I have started over to breed, this time picking up only high quality birds. Year after year, I would introduce better mother sources, obtained from the most renowned Brazilian breeders. However, disappointment followed with bad experiences with the outcross (open blood), I decided to turn and bet on the "in-breeding" and "line-breeding". In 2003, I bought some birds Uchôa Renato (who introduced and perpetuated the lineage Mannes in Brazil). Satisfied with the result, I bought new budgerigars from the same creator, which also yielded very good results and which together became the basis of my squad. In addition, several descendants of Jo Mannes birds were acquired from other breeders and added to this excellent line, making my squad, one of the binders Mannes blood in the country. At the same time, every line than mentioned, was being systematically eliminated. In 2007 and 2009, got some descendants of Lütolf with Renato, so my blood line is now 100% Renato Uchôa/Mannes/Lutolf. The Colors created in my birdroom: Normals, Opalines, Cinnamons, Spangles, Dominant Pied, Yellowface or Goldface, e Clearbodys. My ring is MF073 and WA1
