 SEX OF THE BUDGERIGARS

      For the most part, cock budgerigars have caruncle blue, and brown females, although not always the case (see below). Moreover, in some varieties such albino, lutino, fallow and clear-eyed, cock budgerigars do not have blue caruncle as adults, but, lilac. See some examples:
